The preparation method of the degraded rhodamine B photocatalyst responsive to visible light with a multi-walled carbon nanotube as a carrier comprises the following steps: firstly preparing colloidal silver phosphate by using silver salt and phosphate; and then by using the multi-walled carbon nanotube as the carrier, preparing a photocatalyst responsive to visible light by using a deposition-precipitation method. The catalyst prepared according to the method can be used for degrading RhB dye in aqueous solution and has the characteristics of simple operation and high degradation rate.
