titleOfInvention Device and method for continuously collecting ions, as well as system and method for ion enrichment
abstract The invention provides a device for continuously collecting irons based on a linear ion trap. The device comprises either a voltage applied device utilized for applying DC bias voltage to an electrode of an X-direction electrode couple of the linear ion trap and/or an electrode of a Y-direction electrode couple of the linear ion trap, or a linear ion trap ion entrance port away from the center of an end cap electrode, or comprises both the voltage applied device and the ion entrance port away from the center of the end cap electrode. The invention further provides a method for collecting the irons based on the linear ion trap, as well as the system and the method for low-abundance ion enrichment. Through the adoption of the device for continuously collecting the ions, high-energy ions can be effectively prevented from escaping from the linear ion trap, so that ions which are within a wide energy range can be continuously collected. Through the adoption of the method for continuously collecting the ions, ion samples can be continuously introduced, so that the proportion of the ions which are within a wide energy range and trapped in the linear ion trap is increased. The system and the method for the low-abundance ion enrichment can be utilized for the enrichment and detection of low-abundance ions.
