The production equipment comprises a processor, a heating device, a steam channel, a roots blower, a reactor, a first absorption tower, a first tail gas pot, a first circulating pump, a cooler, a second absorption tower, a second tail gas pot, a second circulating pump, a formaldehyde storage device, a second tail gas channel and a first tail gas channel, wherein a mixed gas enters the reactor after passing through the processor, the steam channel is arranged between the reactor and the processor, the roots blower is arranged in the steam channel, generated formaldehyde gas is sent into the first absorption tower arranged at the right side of the reactor to carry out absorption serving as a first process, and cooled formaldehyde is sent into the second absorption tower to carry out absorption serving as a second process. According to the production equipment disclosed by the invention, by virtue of the two absorption processes, the formaldehyde is completely absorbed, and the purity is high, so that the problems of energy waste and low yield are solved.
