abstract | The invention relates to application of a traditional Chinese medicine composition in treating kidney injury caused by cisplatin and a preparation method thereof. The composition consists of radix rehmanniae recen, white honey, tuckahoe and ginseng, and is specifically prepared from the following raw material medicines in parts by weight: 700 parts of radix rehmanniae recen, 400 parts of white honey, 200 parts of tuckahoe and 100 parts of ginseng. The preparation method comprises the following steps: accurately weighing 700 parts of radix rehmanniae recen, 400 parts of white honey, 200 parts of tuckahoe and 100 parts of ginseng. Soaking radix rehmanniae, Poria and Ginseng radix in eight times of water for 30 min, heating and refluxing for 4 hr, filtering, and collecting filtrate. Adding water in an amount which is eight times that of the filter residue, heating and refluxing for 3 hours, filtering, and collecting filtrate. Mixing the two filtrates, and adding Mel. Heating and concentrating to obtain a Chinese medicinal composition with a heat density of 1.4kg/L (80 deg.C). Animal experiments prove that the medicine has definite curative effect on the nephrotoxicity caused by cisplatin chemotherapy and does not influence the chemotherapy effect of cisplatin. |
