abstract | The invention relates to a wood-plastic composite material and a preparation method thereof, particularly a thermotropic high-polymer liquid crystal reinforced/toughened polyolefin-base wood-plastic composite material and a preparation method thereof. The invention aims to solve the problem that reinforcement and toughening modification can not be performed at the same time in the existing wood-plastic composite material mechanics. The wood-plastic composite material is prepared from polyolefin, plant fiber powder, a compatilizer, a lubricant and thermotropic liquid crystals. The preparation method comprises the following steps: evenly mixing the polyolefin, compatilizer and thermotropic liquid crystal, granulating with an extruder to obtain a liquid crystal reinforced polyolefin composite material; evenly mixing the plant fiber powder, lubricant and liquid crystal reinforced polyolefin composite material in a high-speed mixer, granulating with an extruder to obtain wood-plastic granules, and finally, carrying out contour machining on the wood-plastic granules to obtain the thermotropic high-polymer liquid crystal reinforced/toughened polyolefin-base wood-plastic composite material. The method is mainly used for preparing the thermotropic high-polymer liquid crystal reinforced/toughened polyolefin-base wood-plastic composite material. |
