abstract |
The invention relates to a method for preparing a compound carrier-loaded olefin polymerization catalyst by treating a compound carrier formed from a magnesium compound and a porous carrier with a silicon-containing compound and Group IVB metal halide as chemical treating agents, filtering, washing and drying. When used in olefin polymerization, the catalyst exhibits high polymerization activity and the obtained polymer has the advantages of high bulk density, uniform particle distribution and moderate molecular weight distribution and is especially suitable for producing polyethylene with ultra-high molecular weight. |
