The Chinese medicinal diet is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 3-8 parts of downy rosemyrtle flowers, 3-8 parts of glossy privet fruits, 5-10 parts of dried longan pulp, 3-8 parts of common macrocarpium fruit pulp, 5-10 parts of tortoise plastron glue, 10-15 parts of milkvetch roots, 3-8 parts of partition in fruits of English walnuts, 3-8 parts of radix bupleuri, 5-10 parts of manyflower solomonseal rhizome, 3-8 parts of cuttlebone, 5-10 parts of radix codonopsis pilosulae, 3-8 parts of Jew's ears, 3-5 parts of barbary wolfberry fruits, 3-5 parts of liquorice roots, 3-8 parts of Chinese dates, 30-40 parts of dioscorea opposita thunb., 5-10 parts of agrocybe cylindracea and 10-20 parts of sea cucumbers. The preparation method of the Chinese medicinal diet comprises the following steps of weighing the raw materials, washing, and airing for later use; soaking sea cucumbers for later use; putting downy rosemyrtle flowers and other raw materials except Jew's ears and sea cucumbers on a piece of clean gauze, wrapping in the gauze, and putting the gauze in an earthen pot; and finally adding Jew's ears and sea cucumbers into the earthen pot, adding water, decocting the raw materials on slow fire, and cooling to room temperature.
