Provided is an electrode foil which, while having an organic nitrogen compound on the interface between a metal foil and a reflecting layer, enables an organic light-emitting device with high external quantum efficiency to be configured. This electrode foil is provided with a metal foil comprising copper or a copper alloy, and a reflecting layer directly disposed on at least one surface of the metal foil. The electrode foil has an organic nitrogen compound on the interface between the metal foil and the reflecting layer, and when the interface is analyzed by time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS), the ratio of the count of C-N bonds in the organic nitrogen compound to the total count of C-N bonds and copper (i.e., CN/(CN + Cu) is not more than 0.4. |
