Glass molded article and method for producing same, optical element blank, and optical element and method for producing same |
abstract |
[Problem] When heating a glass gob comprising optical glass containing phosphorus, oxygen and fluorine to a temperature at which press-molding is possible, there are many cases in which the surface of the glass gob crystallizes and hardens. The problem of surface crystallization of glass gobs when press-molding is particularly prominent with glass to be polished and subjected to press-molding at a high temperature. [Solution] This method for producing a glass molded article includes a step for covering the surface of a glass gob, which comprises optical glass containing phosphorus, oxygen and fluorine, with a covering agent containing phosphorus, and a step for heating, softening and molding the glass gob covered by the covering agent. |
