The invention discloses a product with a fluid permeation-proof layer, such as a pneumatic tire or a hose. The tire, for example, comprises an outer tire surface layer, a middle tire sidewall and carcass layer and an innermost APP (Air Permeation-Proof) layer, wherein (i) the APP layer is provided with an upper surface and a lower surface, and contains a polymer composition with an APC (Air Permeation Coefficient) of about 25*10<-12>cc.cm/cm<2>sec cmHg (at 30 DEG C) or lower and Young modulus of about 1 to 500MPa, the polymer composition contains (A) at least 10 weight percent of at least one thermoplastic component, preferably polyamide resin or mixer, with an APC of about Young modulus of 25*10<-12>cc.cm/cm<2>sec cmHg (at 30 DEG C) or lower and Young modulus of higher than 500MPa, and (B) at least 10 weight percent of at least one elastomer component, preferably halogen-containing rubber or mixer, with an APC of higher than about 25*10<-12>cc.cm/cm<2>sec cmHg (at 30 DEG C) and Young modulus of not exceeding 500 MPa, the total amount of (A) and (B) is at least about 30 weight percent, and the elastomer component is a dispersed sulfide discontinuous phase in a thermoplastic resin substrate; (ii) at least one thermoplastic laminated layer is bonded with at least the lower surface of the APP layer, and contains a film-forming semi-crystalline substantially-hydrophobic carbon chain polymer of which the glass transition temperature Tg is lower than about -20 DEG C. |
