abstract The invention provides a converter slag additive. The converter slag additive comprises the following components by weight: 30-40% of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), 15-35% of calcium oxide (CaO), 25-35% of silicon dioxide (SiO2), 2-5% of carbon (C), less than or equal to 0.25% of sulfur (S), less than 0.25% of phosphorus (P) and 1-5% of water. The converter slag additive has the advantages that a slagging material of lime is saved, the lance life is prolonged, the consumption of steel and iron materials is reduced, and accordingly the cost is reduced; in terms of quality, a slag system is improved, the slagging speed is increased, the mobility of slag is improved and the dephosphorization effect is improved. The invention further provides a preparation method and a use method of the converter slag additive.
