titleOfInvention | Anti-GCC antibody molecules and their use for testing susceptibility to GCC target therapy |
abstract | The present invention discloses antibodies and antigen-binding fragments of antibodies that bind GCC. The present invention also provides diagnostic methods for identifying patients who should receive GCC-targeted therapy using the anti-GCC antibodies provided herein. The anti-GCC antibody molecules can be used as naked antibody molecules and as components of immunoconjugates. Accordingly, in another aspect, the invention features an immunoconjugate comprising an anti-GCC antibody molecule described herein and a therapeutic agent or marker. The invention also features methods of using the anti-GCC antibody molecules and immunoconjugates described herein, for example, for the detection of GCC and cells or tissues expressing GCC. The methods are particularly useful for the diagnosis, prognosis, imaging or staging of GCC-mediated diseases. Accordingly, in some aspects, the invention features methods of identifying an individual treated with a GCC targeted therapy, e.g., an anti-GCC antibody therapy, e.g., an immunoconjugate comprising an anti-GCC antibody conjugated to a therapeutic agent. |
