abstract The invention discloses a beverage containing gingko leaves and a preparation method. The beverage containing gingko leaves is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 5-15% of gingko leaves, 2%-7% of white gourds, 1%-5% of cassia seeds, 2-8% of raw hawthorns, 1-3% of citric acid, 0.3-0.45% of xylitol, 0.1-0.5% of guar gum, 1-2% of honey, 0.04-0.09% of sodium benzoate and the balance of pure water. The beverage containing gingko leaves disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the health effects of lowering serum cholesterol, triglyceride and low-density blood fat protein and reducing the fat stored in the body of the gingko leaves are brought into full play by combining with other components; and meanwhile, the beverage is relatively good in dosing scheme, so that the mouthfeel is pleasant.
