titleOfInvention Method for quickly detecting boric acid in raw milk
abstract The invention relates to a method for quickly detecting boric acid in raw milk. The method comprises the steps that borax is converted into boric acid in acid solution, and the boric acid and curcumin produce red compounds; two beakers are fetched, a detected milk sample containing a certain amount of borax or boric acid is added into one beaker, no milk sample is added into the other beaker for blank control, and a certain amount of diluted hydrochloric acid is added, the solution is evenly mixed, curcuma paper is dipped into the solution and then is taken out, the paper is stuck onto the surface of a glass dish and is dried with mild fire, and the color change is observed, wherein if a red color with different depths occurs, the color changes to blue green when ammonia water is added and then the color changes to red when acid is added, the existence of the boric acid or borax is confirmed. The method for quickly detecting boric acid in raw milk has the advantages that the method is simple, the cost is low, and the boric acid in the raw milk can be quickly and accurately detected.
