abstract The invention provides a conductive polymer-amino acid composite coating and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises following steps: (1) firstly weighing amino acid and a monomer of a conductive polymer and adding the amino acid and the monomer to pure water, dissolving the solutes in the pure water fully in an ultrasonic and stirring manner to form an electroplating solution, and pumping nitrogen into the electroplating solution for preventing oxidation of the monomer of the conductive polymer; and (2) soaking a to-be-electroplated electrode and a counter electrode into the electroplating solution and respectively connecting the to-be-electroplated electrode and the counter electrode to a positive pole and a negative pole of an electroplating device and performing electroplating for a time to form the amino-acid-doped conductive polymer composite coating on a surface of the to-be-electroplated electrode. The conductive polymer-amino acid composite coating is uniform and stable, is good in electrochemical performance, stability and biocompatibility, and can be used as an electrode-tissue interface sensitive material for preparing a biomedical electronic device.
