titleOfInvention Preparation method for high chlorinated polyethylene resin with good dissolving property
abstract The invention discloses a preparation method for a high chlorinated polyethylene resin with good dissolving property. The preparation method includes the following steps: high-density low molecular weight polyethylene is added into a reaction kettle containing water, an emulsifier, a dispersant, and an initiator; chlorine is introduced into the reaction kettle, and stepwise polymerization is carried out for 5 to 8 hours at a temperature of 60 to 130 DEG C under a stirred condition; after the reaction is completed, the chlorine input is stopped, and the temperature is reduced; a reaction solution is filtered to remove an acid water solution; a sodium hydroxide solution is then added to neutralize residual acids in the materials, and the pH value is controlled at 8; washing, centrifugation and drying are carried out in sequence to prepare the highly chlorinated polyethylene resin with good dissolving property. The preparation method has the advantages that the reaction time is easy to control, and the operation is simple; when applied in coatings, the chlorinated grafted modified resin achieves excellent dissolving property, high transparency, elimination of obvious non-dissolvable particles, good film-forming property, high corrosion resistance, and high adhesion to a metal base material.
