The present invention provides a method of making a composite polymer material comprising wood pulp fibers and a thermoplastic polymer, the method comprising the step of reducing the outlet area of the mixing device to 40% to 60% of the cross-sectional area of the mixing device. The wood pulp fibers used are preferably bleached chemical wood pulp fibers. The method further includes converting the composite polymeric material into pellet form. |
