The invention discloses a vehicle detecting device and method based on common license plate and electronic license plate identifying. The vehicle detecting device is provided with an electronic license plate and a detector based on common license plate and electronic license plate double identifying. The electronic license plate is an RFID electronic tag. The detector comprises a card reader, a tag antenna, a detecting host, a high-definition camera, a vehicle detector, a ground sensing coil and a light supplement lamp. A common license plate and electronic license plate double identifying mode is used for detecting a vehicle. The detecting host receives common license plate information sent by the high-definition camera and electronic license plate information sent by the card reader. The common license plate information and the electronic license plate information are read and compared. If the common license plate information is inconsistent with the electronic license plate information, a warning is given out, information secondary determining on the vehicle is carried out by informing an intelligent traffic managing system, and tracking and intercepting are carried out intermediately. After a license plate of a stolen vehicle is changed, accurate detecting can be carried out, automatic warning can be carried out, and wide application prospect is achieved. |
