titleOfInvention | Bacillus shacheensis and application thereof |
abstract | The invention discloses Bacillus shacheensis HNA-14<T> with the preservation number in the Korea Type Preservation center being KCTC 33145. Through separation, screening and physiological and biochemical identification of saline-alkali soil from Xinjiang yarkant, the bacterial strain is determined to be short rod gram-positive bacterium (show in drawing one), which is strictly aerobic, generates spores, and has moveability, the cell size is (0.5-0.8)*(1.0-1.5)micron, and the bacterial colony is yellow. The NaCl tolerant range is 3%-20% (the optimal salinity is 7%-15%), the pH growth range is 6.5-10.0 (the optimal pH range is 7.5-8.0), and the temperature growth range is 5-40 DEG C (the optimal growth temperature is 25-30). The Xinjiang Bacillus shacheensis HNA-14 is capable of effectively decomposing gelatin and starch, and has the enzyme activity of Esterase (C4), Esterase lipase (C8), Valinearylamidase, Acid phosphatase and Naphthol-AS-B1-phosphohydrolase; meanwhile, the bacterial strain has high salinity adaptability, and can survive at a high salinity. The moderately halophilic bacterium can be widely applied to production of secondary metabolite at a high salinity. The attached drawing shows the morphology of the Bacillus shacheensis HNA-14 observed through a scanning electron microscope in 10000 times. |
