The present invention relates to a humanized immunoglobulin, mouse monoclonal antibody and chimeric antibody with binding specificity to human CD52. The present invention further relates to a humanized immunoglobulin light chain and a humanized immunoglobulin heavy chain. The present invention also relates to isolated nucleic acids, recombinant vectors and host cells comprising sequences encoding humanized immunoglobulins or immunoglobulin light or heavy chains, and to methods for the preparation of humanized immunoglobulins. The humanized immunoglobulins can be used therapeutically to treat, for example, autoimmune diseases, cancer, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple sclerosis, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. |
