| abstract | The invention discloses a method for preparing an additive for preventing and treating respiratory diseases of chickens. The method comprises the following steps: (A) preparing a traditional Chinese medicine: cleaning and slicing commelina communis, cordate houttuynia, radix paeoniae rubra, litchi seed, pipewort, artemisia annua, snake gourd fruit, radix phytolaccae, polyporus umbellatus, cassia seed and mung beans, so as to obtain a flaky mixture; (B) preparing medicinal powder: putting the flaky mixture obtained in the step (A) into decocting equipment, adding clean water until the flaky mixture is submerged, rapidly heating to the temperature of boiling, boiling for 30-50 rolls, then, pouring out a decoction, mixing a first-time decoction, a second-time decoction and a third-time decoction together, heating to continue to concentrate, so as to obtain a concentrate, adding starch into the concentrate, uniformly stirring, and then, drying, so as to obtain the medicinal powder; (C) mixing other active ingredients: adding streptomycin and calcium propionate into the medicinal powder obtained in the step (B), uniformly mixing, and then, carrying out ultraviolet sterilization, thereby obtaining the additive.
