abstract The invention discloses a preparation method of a bazedoxifene acetate intermediate. The invention provides a method for preparing an intermediate compound 3 of bazedoxifene acetate, which comprises the following steps: step (1): in a polar aprotic solvent, under the condition of the presence of a base, p-hydroxybenzaldehyde 6 and compound 5. Condensation reaction is carried out to obtain intermediate compound 4; step (2): the reaction solution obtained in step (1) is directly mixed with a protic solvent without post-treatment, and then carried out reduction reaction with a reducing agent to obtain intermediate compound 3 of bazedoxifene acetate . The preparation method of the present invention has short route, mild reaction conditions, safe operation, simple post-treatment process, high reaction conversion rate, high product yield, good purity, environment-friendly, and is suitable for industrialized production.
