Highly effective soluble epoxide hydrolase non-urea inhibitor |
abstract |
The present invention relates to compounds having vasodilatory and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the activity of soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH). The invention also relates to methods of identifying such compounds, and the use of such compounds for the treatment of diseases associated with vasodilation dysfunction, inflammation and/or endothelial cells. In a specific, non-limiting example, compounds of the invention are useful in the treatment of hypertension. |
