abstract | The invention discloses a piston with an integrated steel crown and iron skirt and a production method of the same. The piston comprises a piston crown form by forging quenched and tempered steel, a piston skirt made of nodular cast iron, wherein the piston crown is provided with a first inner supporting ring with small diameter and a first outer supporting ring with large diameter, the piston skirt is provided with a second inner supporting ring with small diameter and a second outer supporting ring with large diameter, brazing filler metal is positioned between the first inner supporting ring and the second inner supporting ring and used for connecting the first and second inner supporting rings through vacuum brazing, a positioning pin is also inserted between the first and second inner supporting rings, and the brazing filler metal is also positioned between the first outer supporting ring and the second outer supporting ring and used for connecting the first and second outer supporting rings through vacuum brazing. The method comprises: pre-assembling the piston crown, the piston skirt and the positioning pin, pre-positioning the brazing filler metal between the first and second inner supporting rings and between the first and second outer supporting rings, loading into a high-temperature vacuum brazing furnace for vacuum brazing, quenching and tempering, fine machining and the like. The piston with the integrated steel crown and iron skirt and the production method thereof are easy to engineer and high in reliability. |
