abstract | A method of user management and a power plant control system for a power plant system are disclosed. The power plant control system has a central server communicatively coupled to manage a plurality of local servers that further manage one or more entities of the power plant system. The central server has user roles. One or more roles are assigned to a user to enable the user to perform one or more tasks defined in the corresponding user role on one or more entities. A list of user roles assigned to a user is provided to a particular local server for enabling authentication of the user to perform tasks defined in the user roles on the particular ontology server. |
