abstract |
The present invention generally relates to a method and apparatus for creating a full-resolution color digital image of a diagnostic box or object of interest using a grayscale digital camera or sensor combined with temporally continuous illumination using additive color primaries , followed by post-exposure digital processing. Such procedures and devices have significant economic value when used in situations such as diagnostic clinical analyzers where space is limited and image quality requirements are high. |
