abstract |
The objective of the present invention is to provide a sealing material that can retain superior compression recovery properties even in harsh environments and that can maintain the airtightness and fluid-tightness of a vessel. The sealing material, which comprises a fluorine-containing polymer having a polymerization unit that is on the basis of tetrafluoroethylene and at least one type of polymerization unit that is on the basis of perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether), is characterized by the fluorine-containing polymer having no greater than 4.0 mass% of the polymerization unit that is on the basis of perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) with respect to all the polymerization units, and having a melt flow rate of 0.1-100 g/10 minutes. |
