The invention belongs to the field of fine chemicals, and relates to an improved synthesis method of benzimidazole compounds and related chemical technologies. The method is characterized in that the benzimidazole compound is synthesized under protonic acid catalysis by using o-phenylenediamine and 1,3-dicarbonyl compound as raw materials. The present invention mainly provides a new method for synthesizing benzimidazole compounds. The method has the advantages of mild reaction conditions, simple method steps, readily available raw materials, good functional group compatibility and the like. Because benzimidazole is an important biologically active group, it is widely used in the field of pharmacy; therefore, the present invention has great use value and social and economic benefits. |
