abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for coating plastic substrates with an aqueous coating agent containing at least one organic polymer as a binder, wherein the coating agent is applied to the surface of the plastic substrate and is then cured. The method is characterized in that the plastic substrate is pre-treated prior to application of the coating agent, wherein the pre-treatment comprises the following two separate steps in the given order: (A) tempering a plastic substrate at an ambient temperature ranging from 60 DEG C to 160 DEG C for a period of time ranging from 1 mins to 20 mins, (B) flaming the surface of the plastic substrate pre-treated according to step (A), wherein there is a time period of up to 90 min between the end of step (A) and the beginning of step (B). A further subject matter of the present invention is a coated plastic substrate characterized in that it has been coated by the method according to the invention. |
