titleOfInvention | Hydrolysis-resistant polyacrylamide gels |
abstract | The invention relates to hydrolysis-resistant polyacrylamide gels, specifically to a method for protein mixture separations through electrophoresis. The method includes (i) applying mixture sample on gel containing cross-linked polyacrylamide prepared by buffered solution containing triethanolamine, wherein the gel containing 0.03 mM to about 0.3 mM of tri(hydroxymethyl) aminomethane and 0.03 mM to about 0.3 mM of bi (2-ethoxy) amidogen- tri(hydroxymethyl) methane, or containing 0.03 mM to about 0.3 mM of tri(hydroxymethyl) aminomethane without bi (2-ethoxy) amidogen- tri(hydroxymethyl) methane, or containing 0.03 mM to about 0.3 mM of bi (2-ethoxy) amidogen- tri(hydroxymethyl) methane without tri(hydroxymethyl) aminomethane; and (i) supplying voltage on the gel to allow the protein to move on the gel in different speed until the gel is divided into a plurality of strips. The gel is prepared or stored for at least three days before being applied to the step (i) and step (ii). |
