titleOfInvention Electrochemical flocculation method and device capable of producing electricity
abstract The invention relates to the electrochemical flocculation precipitation technology and aims to provide an electrochemical flocculation method and device capable of producing electricity. The device comprises a flocculation basin and at least one group of metal anode and air cathode, wherein the air cathode is vertically mounted, functions as the side wall of the flocculation basin and is composed of a catalyzing layer, a current collector and a diffusion layer which are distributed layer by layer in sequence; the metal anode and the air cathode are connected through a lead to form a circuit; a load is connected to the circuit; the diffusion layer faces to the air side outside the flocculation basin; the catalyzing layer faces to the cavity side of the flocculation basin. Compared with conventional flocculation and electric flocculation methods, the electrochemical flocculation method does not need external electric energy or chemical flocculating agents, so the method is simple and low in cost. When the flocculation treatment effect is achieved, electric energy is produced and the cost is further reduced. Since the generated electric energy and yield of flocculates can be adjusted and controlled by controlling the circuit load, effective treatment for water with different qualities is easily achieved and a certain electric energy is generated.
