abstract | The invention discloses a tung oil derivative-modified unsaturated polyester resin composition and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the steps: by taking a tung oil derivative and general type unsaturated polyester resin as primary materials, adding a certain amount of an antioxidant, a thermal stabilizer, a light stabilizer, a mildew preventive and a defoaming agent, stirring and mixing uniformly at a normal temperature to prepare the tung oil derivative-modified unsaturated polyester resin composition. After being added with an initiator and an accelerant, the composition is heated for reacting and curing to form a co-mixing structure composite of tung oil derivative monomer and an unsaturated polyester macromolecule, so that problems such as bad air-drying performance, poor adhesion force, poor flexibility, poor impact resistance, and the like, of the existing unsaturated polyester resin paint are solved, and therefore, the tung oil derivative-modified unsaturated polyester resin composition can be used as thermocuring paint for being applied to the fields such as buildings, cars, chemical engineering, and the like. The method has the advantages of being low in production cost, simple and convenient to operate, short in production period, small in environmental pollution, and the like. |
