abstract The invention discloses an experimental method of influences of acupuncture on the hypertension angiocarpy variability caused by rat stress. Animals are divided into a sham operation set, an ovariectomized set and an ovariectomized and electric acupuncture set; each set is further divided into a stress set and a non-stress set. Stress is carried out on rats receiving stress processing combining foot shock and electric cicadas in the two final weeks, femoral artery canula inserting is carried out after the stress is completed, the heart rate and the blood pressure are recorded, and the heart rate variability analysis and the baroreflex sensitivity analysis are carried out. The Zusanli points of the ovariectomized rats with hypertension caused by the stress are electrically acupunctured to give play to the antihypertensive effect by improving the autonomic nervous function and increasing the sensibility of cardiovascular systems on autonomic nerve adjustment. By means of the experimental method, a basis is provided for precise curative effects of the hypertension acupuncture treatment, a new breakthrough is found for mechanism researching on hypertension and cardiovascular disease acupuncture treatment, and the antihypertensive effect is achieved by improving the autonomic nervous function and increasing the sensibility of the cardiovascular systems on autonomic nerve adjustment through the fact that the Zusanli points of the ovariectomized rats with the hypertension caused by the stress are electrically acupunctured.
