titleOfInvention | Traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating cough and preparation method thereof |
abstract | A disclosed traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating cough is composed of the following raw materials in percent by mass: 5%-6% of fried ephedra stem, 8%-9% of apricot kernel, 8%-9% of citrus maxima, 5%-6% of adenophora stricta, 13%-15% of poria cocos, 13%-15% of fritillaria thunbergii, 13%-15% of radix scutellariae, 13%-15% of white gourd seeds, 9%-10% of tussilago farfara and 5%-6% of licorice. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the traditional Chinese medicine composition. The preparation method comprises: adding water into fried ephedra stem, apricot kernels and citrus maxima to extract volatile oil, adding water into herb residues, adenophora stricta, poria cocos, radix scutellariae, white gourd seeds, tussilago farfara and licorice, decocting for 1 hour for two times; merging the decoction, filtering, performing reduced-pressure concentration on the filtrate to form a stiff paste; then crushing fritillaria thunbergii into fine powder, mixing with the above stiff paste, performing reduced-pressure drying; and then mixing with the extracted volatile oil to obtain the composition. The traditional Chinese medicine composition is capable of thoroughly treating demonstrated cough asthma, and also has deficiency-tonifying effect. |
