titleOfInvention Application of vitamin C in inhibition of hepatotoxicity of pesticide dichloro diphenyl trichloroethane (DDT)
abstract The invention provides application of a vitamin C in inhibition of hepatotoxicity of a pesticide dichloro diphenyl trichloroethane (DDT). The vitamin C and DDT are used for processing human normal liver cells, and detecting the inhibition effect of the vitamin C on DDT liver injury. Injures to the human liver cells caused by 30muM and 60muM of DDT respectively are 27.5% and 46.4%. The injuries are weakened by adding 1-50muM of vitamin C. The human liver cells are processed by the vitamin C for 24 hours, no obvious toxic and side effects are generated, and the effect of the vitamin C on inhibition of the hepatotoxicity of the pesticide DDT is shown.
