titleOfInvention Method for extracting high-purity fucoxanthin from seaweeds
abstract The invention discloses a method for extracting high-purity fucoxanthin from seaweeds. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: cleaning the seaweeds by using the distilled water so as to remove saline ions on the surfaces of the seaweeds, and then removing moisture on the surfaces of the seaweeds; then adding an organic reagent to the seaweeds, digesting in the dark for 8-24 hours, and carrying out suction filtration so as to obtain a leaching liquid; repeatedly digesting the leaching liquid till the leaching liquid is colorless, and combining each leaching liquid into a brown bottle; finally carrying out rotary evaporation for a period of time till black green precipitates occur in a liquid, and filtering so as to remove pigment and impurities; and continuously carrying out rotary evaporation till red solids are separated out in the liquid, and filtering so as to obtain the red solids which are the high-purity fucoxanthin. The method has the advantages that the safely healthy high-purity fucoxanthin raw material is obtained for the first time under the condition that no chromatographic techniques are used for separation, and the preparation process is safe, harmfulless, economic and environment-friendly.
