abstract The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for manufacturing parallel wires used for a microbead thermistor. The method comprises the following steps: winding the middle point of a wire on a right wrapping post along a horizontal direction, allowing two sections of the wire to extend to a left wrapping post respectively along left and right horizontal directions, allowing two ends of the wire to be wound around the left wrapping post and fixing the two ends; fixing the right wrapping post on the measuring head of a tension sensor and outwardly stretching and pulling the left wrapping post along left and right horizontal directions; and carrying out pushing on one end or two ends of one section of the wire and observing the parallel degree between the two sections of the wire, wherein the parallel wires are obtained when the parallel degree meets a requirement according to observation results. With the method and the apparatus for manufacturing the parallel wires used for the microbead thermistor in the invention, deviation between spacing of wires of two electrodes of the microbead thermistor is controlled to be in a micrometer scale, the two wires can be highly parallel, the produced microbead thermistor has good consistency and high sensitivity, production efficiency of equipment is high, manufacturing cost is low, and product performance is highly stable.
