titleOfInvention Feed additive manufactured from orange peel and rice bran for beta-xanthophyll-rich and VE-rich eggs
abstract A feed additive manufactured from orange peel and rice bran for beta-xanthophyll-rich and VE-rich eggs comprises the following raw materials by weight: 56-58 parts of orange peel powder, 34-36 parts of rice bran powder, 7-9 parts of Lowe's algae powder, and 4-6 parts of an assistant, wherein the assistant is solid beta-cyclodextrin and montmorillonite with the ratio of 7:3. The preparation method comprises the following steps: airing or drying the orange peel, the rice bran, and the Lowe's algae; controlling the water content; grinding to coarse powder of 60-80 mesh respectively; mixing the raw materials according to the ratio and then adding with the assistant; treating with a high energy vibration ball mill for 15-30 min after uniform mixing to obtain the finished product. The feed additive provided by the invention is added into hen overhead price daily ration with the ratio of 1.5-2% continuously for 5 or more days, a hen can lay eggs which are rich in beta-xanthophyll and VE, the beta-xanthophyll content is 4 times higher than that of a control group, and the VE content is 23.4% higher than that of the control group. The feed additive adopts orange peel and other waste to create obvious economical and social benefit.
