titleOfInvention Pharmaceutical composition for treating equine coccidiosis
abstract The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating equine coccidiosis, which comprises the following active pharmaceutical ingredients: toosendan fruit, radix bupleuri, lychee seed, fennel, frankincense, notopterygium root and heracleum hemsleyanum michaux. By using the treatment principles of warming the middle-jiao, dispelling cold, invigorating qi and invigorating vital function, the composition has the advantages of reasonable formula, simple preparation technique and wide application range. The composition is prepared from pure Chinese medicinal herbs, and thus, has the advantages of wide sources, low cost, high cure rate, no drug residue and no toxic or side effect; and especially, superfine grinding maximally destroys the plant cell walls, so the composition overcomes the defects of high coarse fiber content and difficulty in leaching effective components in the traditional medicinal powder, and can be absorbed by horses more easily. The composition has obvious actions on relieving pains and regulating the functions of the organism, and effectively treats equine coccidiosis; and compared with the western medicine treatment, the composition can shorten the recovery period and has the advantage of low tendency to relapse.
