abstract The present invention relates to a kind of method for being used to concentrate the ink for electrostatic printing processes, wherein this method comprises the following steps:(a) ink for electrostatic printing processes is provided, the ink includes the charging property particle being located in liquid-carrier;(b) ink is transmitted between charging property conveyer and first electrode, wherein applying potential make it that ink is attached to charging property conveyer;(c) ink is transmitted on a conveyor with by mobile surface, wherein ink contact moves surface, and apply potential between conveyer and mobile surface, so that charging property particle is arranged as shifting to conveyer and some liquid-carriers are removed, to improve the concentration of charging property particle in the liquid-carrier on conveyer, so as to form concentration ink on a conveyor, it is then transported on device and mobile surface is separated each other so that essentially all of concentration ink is retained on conveyer;(d) remove concentration ink from conveyer and transfer them to tank.A kind of apparatus for carrying out the process is also disclosed.
