titleOfInvention | Method for preparing epoxy-modified polyacrylate emulsion special for water-based industrial paint |
abstract | The invention discloses a method for preparing epoxy-modified polyacrylate emulsion specially used for water-based industrial paints, which includes material preparation, emulsification treatment and polymerization reaction. The emulsion is prepared by emulsifying under stirring to form an epoxy-monomer pre-emulsion, and then adding an initiator under certain process conditions to make it react to form an epoxy-modified polyacrylate emulsion. The average particle size of the emulsion is not about 100μ, and the storage stability, solvent resistance, salt spray resistance and hardness are all good, and its storage time can exceed 6 months or even exceed one year. When applied to water-based glass baking varnish, its resistance to 50% ethanol can reach 48 hours without abnormal phenomenon, its hardness can reach more than 3H, and its resistance to salt spray can exceed 650 hours. The process is stable in polymerization, and at the same time, it does not require high stirring speed during epoxy-monomer mixing, emulsification and polymerization, which is extremely beneficial to industrial production. |
