The sealwort and hawthorn vinegar is developed primarily by scientifically adding the traditional Chinese medicinal material extracts of the sealwort, the cassia seeds, the hawthorn and the rhizoma alismatis in a traditional Chinese medicine compound prescription determined by research with great concentration into the table vinegar together with some auxiliary material; the five raw materials of the sealwort and hawthorn vinegar have effects of preventing and treating hypertension and hyperlipidaemia; after the ingredients are prepared into the sealwort and hawthorn vinegar, the ingredients can exert a synergistic effect; the pharmacological activity is improved; and the sealwort and hawthorn vinegar almost has no toxic or side effect, can go with rice or bread or be directly taken orally, is good in taste, certainly benefits mass patients due to a definite prevention and control effect of the sealwort and hawthorn vinegar, and is particularly popular with middle-aged and aged people and fragile populations.
