The sex attractant is prepared through tests in laboratories and repeated tests in forests. When being used for either observing and predicting insect pest situations or trapping in quantity or mating disruption, the sex attractant is beneficial for protecting natural enemies, avoids using chemical pesticides, is environment-friendly and safe, is convenient to use, is low in cost, has long validity, can achieve the aim of effectively controlling iragoides fasciata moore and has obvious ecological and economic benefits.
