abstract |
The present invention provides a composition comprising fish egg protein isolate. There are also natural product extracts containing unsaturated fatty acids and sterols. An emulsifier is also provided to form the mixture of the isolate and the extract. The present invention also provides a composition comprising an egg hatching protein isolate and at least one antimicrobial agent that protects the activity of the isolate. An emulsifier forms a mixture with the isolate having an aqueous phase buffered to a pH between 5.6 and 7.9. The present invention also provides a method of producing such a cosmetic product comprising forming an emulsion or an aqueous phase which is buffered to a pH between 5.5 and 7.9 before adding the isolate to the emulsion. The present invention also provides a method of improving the appearance of skin, the method comprising applying the cosmetic to the skin at least three times a week to achieve the improvement of skin appearance. |
