abstract The invention discloses a preparation method of a novel SiO2-coated TiO2 material. The method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing a butyl titanate ethanol solution with an ethylenediamine ethanol solution, adding distilled water, and stirring for 1-3 hours; producing a hydrothermal reaction in a reaction kettle for 12-48 hours, conducting a centrifuging process, dispersing deposits into absolute ethanol, adding distilled water and strong ammonia water, and ultrasonically dispersing to obtain a suspension solution; adding ethyl silicate into the suspension solution, stirring for 1-5 hours, conducting a centrifuging process, washing until the pH value is 6-8, performing natural air-drying or drying on deposits, heating to 500-800 DEG C at the speed of 0.1-4 DEG C/min, and calcining at 500-800 DEG C for 10-240 minutes to obtain the novel SiO2-coated TiO2 material. The novel SiO2-coated TiO2 material is larger in specific surface area and degree of crystallinity; as the structure is that TiO2 is coated with SiO2, granules can be effectively prevented from making contact with the TiO2 surface and the catalyst deactivation is avoided.
