The present invention relates to substituted 2-[2 haloalkyl-4-phenoxyphenyl]-1-[1,2,4]triazol-1-yl ethanol compounds of formula (I) defined in the specification and their N-oxides and salts, their preparation and intermediates for their preparation. The invention also relates to the use of these compounds for controlling harmful fungi, to seed coated with at least one of these compounds and to compositions comprising at least one of these compounds.
