abstract The invention discloses a light-emitting diode (LED) system for improving towel gourd photosynthesis based on solar energy. A lamp panel comprises a base with a plurality of jacks and a plurality of lamp beads. The lamp beads are inserted into the jacks in the base, and the jacks of the base are connected with an anode and a cathode of a power supply. The lamp beads comprise 630nm red light LEDs and 450nm blue light LEDs which are arranged evenly in a staggering mode with the ratio as 9:1. Contents of chlorophyll, carotenoid, Vc, total sugar and crude protein are obviously increased, and nitrate content is reduced. A fan is arranged on the side to blow heat to the middle, the heat is discharged upwards through vents in the top face, and the effect of the heat on plants is reduced to the largest extent.
