The feedstuff for young birds at the mouth-open period is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 50-60 parts of corn, 20-30 parts of bean pulp, 1-5 parts of steam fish meal, 0.3-0.5 parts of glucose, 0.8-1.1 parts of mountain flour, 0.8-1.0 part of calcium hydrophosphate, 0.2-0.3 parts of salt, 0.15-0.3 part of methionine, 0.2-0.5 part of lysine, 0.1% of choline chloride, 0.1-0.3 part of compound vitamins, 0.1-0.3 part of compound trace elements, 0.1-0.3 part of butyrin, 0.5 part of poultry complex enzyme and 0.01 part of poultry protease. The feedstuff for young birds at the mouth-open period is generally applied to all laying and meat young birds of 0-7 ages in days. By adopting the feedstuff for young birds at the mouth-open period, the nutritional requirements at the transition period from yolk to a feed are considered. no drug needs to be added to drinking water after the feedstuff is used, so that a difficult operation of adding the drug to the drinking water is solved, the problem that the dose is difficultly grasped is solved, and the problem that a nutritive additive is added to the drinking water to lead to easy deterioration under the environment of a high-temperature and high-humidity young birdhouse is also solved.
