abstract The invention discloses fluorophosphate-based blue fluorescent powder which is characterized by emitting blue fluorescence with wavelength of 420-470nm under the excitation of 300-360nm ultraviolet light, wherein the chemical formula is R5Al(PO4)2F2:xEu<2+>; R is one of Li, Na and K; x is the mole percent coefficient of Eu<2+> replacing R<+> and 0.0001<=x<=0.15. The fluorophosphate-based blue fluorescent powder disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the degree of crystallinity is high, the luminous efficiency is remarkable, and the preparation method is simple and environment-friendly; and meanwhile, the fluorophosphate-based blue fluorescent powder also can be applied to various kinds of illumination display taking ultraviolet light as an excitation source, as well as photoluminescence chrominance adjustment.
