abstract The invention discloses a method for preparing a supported cuprous oxide catalyst. The method comprises the following steps: respectively dissolving a copper salt, a magnesium salt and an aluminum salt in water, preparing the salts to solutions with concentrations of 1-2 mol/L, mixing the three solutions, keeping the molar ratio of the mol sum of Cu and Mg ions to Al ions to 2-4, dripping a certain amount of NaOH into a water bath with a constant temperature of 70-80 DEG C, keeping the pH value to 12-13, reacting for 2-3 hours and aging for 12-24 hours, wherein a precipitate of a layered structure is formed in the process; adding 2-5 mol of reducing agent in each liter of the system after the aging procedure is finished, stirring for 2-3 hours, ethanol washing, filtering and vacuum drying at 65-75 DEG C to obtain the supported cuprous oxide catalyst.
